This is a little hidden gem in Barnsley. We had a warm greeting from the owner and given a window table. It was our first time to visit a Polish restaurant so was a bit unsure what to expect. We need not have worried - the menu is self explanatory and if you're in any doubt the owner will explain. Glyn Melia, Google review, June 2026

We had our wedding reception there, the food was amazing, a real taste of Poland. Both English guests and Polish loved the food. The atmosphere was electric and the staff and owners were truly amazing.

What can I say? The food was amazing, it's traditional Polish food in a relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend this place to both English and Polish people. And the dessert was out of this world. Top marks to the chef.

Catering & events

The room does bigger nights too

It says Catering & Events on the front of the building, and the reviews bear it out - one family held their whole wedding reception here and fed English and Polish guests off the same kitchen.

If you are feeding a party, a christening or an office, ring and talk to the owner about numbers and what you want on the table.
